Chairman’s Award presented to project team

Achievement recognised with Chairman’s Award

The Chairman of the CRC for Polymers, Dr Peter Coldrey, has conferred a CRC for Polymers Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Commercialisation to the CRCP project team that developed the soil wetting technologies which have been licensed to BASF. The team received the award at a dinner held Perth at the University of Western Australia, coinciding with a team project meeting held at that venue in May.

In presenting the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Commercialisation, Dr Coldrey praised the team’s achievement “The team has successfully brought this project to the edge of commercial reality. In the field of industrial research, many  projects never achieve commercial success and some researchers can work a lifetime without accomplishing something as significant as this team has. They are to be congratulated.”
