Review confirms performance
A comprehensive review of the CRCP was conducted during 14-16 April 2015. It delivered a very positive assessment of the performance of the CRCP, and provided objective and very insightful guidance to both the Board and management team. All the review recommendations will be implemented.
Cooperative Research Centres are required to undergo a rigorous independent performance review at least once during a term of funding.
The Review Panel for the CRCP consisted of two CRC Committee members, Ms Lindley Edwards (Review Panel Chair) and Professor Suzanne Miller, Professor Amanda Ellis (Flinders University), Professor Paul Calvert (University of Massachusetts) and Mr Roy Rose (company director).
The sessions covered all facets of the CRCP’s activities and included governance; management; communications strategy; each of the three research programmes; commercialisation & utilisation; IP management; industry engagement and linkages; education, training and skills development; the transition plan; strategic planning & direction; and the wind up plan.
The outcome from the review was an objective assessment of the CRCP’s progress together with insightful recommendations on ways to maximise benefits.
