Clunies Ross Award recipients at the CRC for Polymers

The Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering‘s (ATSE) 2014 Clunies Ross Awards were presented in Perth on Wednesday 21 May.  The CRC for Polymers congratulates Dr Ezio Rizzardo, Dr Graeme Moad and Dr San Thang from CSIRO who received a joint award for their research that resulted in the development and commercialisation of RAFT polymerisation.  It is very pleasing to see this ground-breaking science receiving broad recognition across the Australian science and engineering community.

Ezio was the inaugural Director of the CRC for Polymer Blends, which was the first iteration of the current CRC for Polymers.  Since the commencement of the CRC, both Ezio and Graeme have led many successful research projects with industrial participants in the CRC-P involving research separate from their CSIRO research on RAFT polymerisation.
