Polymer Summer School

An annual event in Australia’s polymer research calendar

The Australasian Polymer Summer School is held on an annual basis and is co-sponsored by the RACI Polymer Division and the CRC for Polymers.  The 15th Australasian Polymer Summer School, was held at the University of Western Sydney from 4th-6th of February 2014. The details of the 16APSS to be held late 2014 or early 2015 are to be confirmed.

15APSS Attendees

The aims of the Polymer Summer School are to broaden polymer education in Australia, increase the level of cross-fertilisation in Australian polymer science and engineering, and to provide a strong theoretical introduction for new researchers.

In addition to attend formal presentations, there are excellent opportunities to meet on an informal basis with leading polymer scientists.

The annual Summer School events are always well attended with an enjoyable range of interesting scientific topics covered, combined with the opportunity to socialise with the presenters, other students and researchers in the polymer community, whilst affording some time for leisure activities in order to relax and explore the location and its surrounds.
